JAPAN MEETS BRABANT - SPORTS AND TECHNOLOGY
We are pleased to invite you to our special DUJAT company visit on the 25th of October. In collaboration with Brabant Development Agency (BOM), Holst Centre, Cluster Sports and Technlogy, Fontys University of Sports and InnoSportLab de Tongelreep, we will be going to Eindhoven, also known as the Brainport region of The Netherlands. The places we will visit revolve around “Technology in Sport & Health”, which is one of the biggest topics in innovation in the city.
First, we will be visiting The Holst Centre: an independent Research & Development center that develops (health & sports) technologies for wireless autonomous sensor technologies and flexible electronics, in an open innovation setting and in dedicated research trajectories.
After that, we will go to InnoSportLab de Tongelreep: an intelligent swimming pool that uses measuring systems for all different concepts of swimming. For swimmers, coaches and devices. Finally, we will visit Fontys University of Sports, the very foundation for further professionalization of students, teachers and professionals. Here, Harmen Bijsterbosch will give a presentation about the innovation for an active lifestyle along the citizens.
Since we will be travelling throughout the day, we highly recommend you register for our BOM Bus.
For those who would like to travel by the BOM bus: they will gather at the parking area Koning Willem II football stadium, Goirleseweg 34 in Tilburg. You can park your car (free of charge) in this parking lot. Departure is at 13:00 hrs.
